Where to Meet

Most students meet me at a library (if hours align) or a coffee shop. If you prefer to tutor at your home, we can do that after the first session is either online or in person at a public place for safety reasons.

Homework

Whether I assign homework is situational and depends on the needs of each student.

Materials Needed

Students are expected to arrive fully equipped for the day’s lessons, with essential supplies such as notebook, pencils with erasers, pens, and any additional resources pertinent to the subject matter, such as calculators or ACT preparation materials.

What Book We Use

Practice Tests

To maximize your score improvement, you need to be taking full-length practice exams.
To build endurance, you should be taking the test in one sitting, timed, like you would do on test day. Ask me about the file of 10 practice tests.

Homework

Whether I assign homework is situational and depends on the needs of each student, but you will have items to memorize in between each session.

Three-hour Sessions

To maximize your score improvement, my students need to know the tips, have the skills, and have endurance. One of the ways we can build this endurance is by having three-hour sessions.

How Many Sessions

Students will learn in just one session, but I typically recommend students to work through all of the sections of their exam. This is because the ACT score is an average of all the sections, so it is best to maximize their score in each section. My curriculum typically breaks down in 6 sessions as follows but can be customized as needed:

  • Session One: Math Class 1 of 2
  • Session Two: Reading
  • Session Three: Science
  • Session Four: English/Essay
  • Session Five: Math Class 2 of 2
  • Session Six: Review and Gaps

Do you offer any score improvement guarantee?

Yes, guarantees are setup on an individualized basis depending on starting point and goals.
